To be an ambassador with Beastwear has been a great, even humbling experience.
Being a Beastwear ambassador has helped myself and others become focussed on training and riding our bikes and to realise that the MTB scene is all about being involved, doing your best and having fun! It’s even about finding your limits. With this in mind the support from Beastwear and the MTBA has gotten me through some tough times, it’s opened up opportunities with other great sponsors like MItas Tyres to represent great products.
The MTB scene is a close one and some of the benefits have been the chance to chat to other cyclists about their event, the equipment they use and the challenges they’ve faced. Wearing the cool Beastwear jersey with its individual and distinctive colours has given me the opportunity to showcase what Beastwear is about! Being called “The Beast” at every MTB event I ride at is also pretty cool too!
I became a Beastwear ambassador after being chosen by the MTBA to represent Beastwear and mountain biking. In my application I said I don’t always win, but I do always have a blast because I’m an MTBeast! I stand by that today. It’s been a great journey and I’ve enjoyed representing MTB and Beastwear. Spreading the work about some top gear and my love of mountain biking has been a blast!
It’s great to see both experienced and new riders getting into the vibe of this great initiative! I hope I can continue with the MTBA and Beastwear into the future.
