50 Days To Go

There are 50 days to go until the pinnacle of mountain bike racing heads to Cairns, Queensland for the 2017 UC MTB World Championships from 5-10th September.

After five rounds of the downhill, Australians Tracey Hannah and Troy Brosnan  currently hold the number one UCI ranking heading into the final world cup stops in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada and Val di Sole, Italy.

Three other Aussies are ranked in the top 20 including Jack Moir (8), Connor Fearon (12) and Michael Hannah (18).

While in the cross-country, Rebecca Henderson is currently ranked 14th after claiming three top 10 placings in the XCO World Cup so far.

This year the XCO  competition will be contested on Saturday 9 September while the DHI will take place on Sunday 10 September.

 Domestically SBS and Fox Sports will carry the broadcast.

The event will be held at Smithfield Regional Park, James Cook University for six days of action.
