Warrandyte MTB Club

The Warrandyte MTB Club in Victoria, formed 3 years ago, has always been
about the kids and getting them involved.right from the beginning. With well over 60 odd kids registered on our membership base, it was time to start up our very own junior squad for those passionate enough to want to ride better.

Junior squads will be held for different levels, as kids get older and more capable, the club will grow with them, providing a stable platform for those that want to take racing and coaching to the next level. We will guide them and support them
through skills, drills, fun and games as well as pin point some of the children friendly races and activities in and around Victoria.
Our local tracks at Candlebark Park, in Templestowe Victoria, are the perfect playground to practise and we look forward to seeing them make friends, riding their bikes and even doing a few races in the very near future.
A huge thank you goes out to the Warrandyte Community Bank for their support and the constant commitment of parents, always willing to bring the kids out rain, hail or shine so they can go riding.

Next stop will be the Vic School Cycling Championship finals held in Bendigo in October – Good Luck to all!

Central Rough Riders

Northern Territory Government, together with Alice Springs MTB Club and other key stakeholders is about to start a $1.3 million upgrade of the track network around Alice Springs. With over 200km of existing track, the works are focussing on repair and maintenance as well as building some new iconic tracks.

Another key part of the initiative is signage and maps of the track network to make it easier for anyone to find their way about.

Entries open for Lasseters Easter in the Alice on 1st September 2018. Get in quick and early bird discount - $140 makes it the cheapest stage race in the country. The race features a ride each morning, having you back at your hotel for morning tea and ready to check out the sites of Central Australia.

Ride the full stage race or ride Easter Mini, 15-25km per day for kids, people who want to try stage racing for the first time.
