2017 National Series Discounts: MTBA provide discounted entry into the 2018 DHI National Series for the top three (1st – 3rd) eligible riders in each recognised category of the previous series. Riders may claim their discount when completing an online entry for the 2018 DHI National Series by entering their MTBA Membership Number in the ‘promotional code’ field during the online entry process. Please note: It is the entrants’ responsibility to claim their discount at the time of entering. MTBA will not issue refunds for riders who fail to validate their promotion code when entering.
Membership Requirements: To register and participate in this event, riders must hold a valid MTBA Race Membership or purchase a Race Day Licence at the time of registering. Please note: Membership must be valid on the date of the event for which you are registering. If your membership expires before the date of the event, you must renew your membership before entering this event. MTBA Recreation Members may upgrade to a Race Membership at anytime through the MTBA Online Services System or opt to purchase a discounted Race Day Licence Upgrade.

We Want You. We’re looking for enthusiastic, active, happy, mountain bikers who love the sound of their own voice and care for the safety of others.
As a Volunteer you can enjoy the unique chance to witness Australia’s best riders in full flight at the 2018 MTBA Downhill National Series opening round in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
Volunteers will perform a wide range of important tasks prior, during and after the event including course marshals, parking and traffic control, race and event installations, administration, timing, merchandise sales and general duties.
You will be in the running to receive a MTBA prize pack that includes cap/t-shirt and socks.

Coffs Harbour’s Mt Coramba Downhill trail is one of Australia’s most renowned and long standing downhill trails. It is surrounded by the beauty of the Coffs Harbour forested areas with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea.
The trail has a rich history and is known for it’s amazing build quality and attention to detail. It is a pure downhill trail built and managed purely for the advanced gravity rider by Dozer’s team at Coffs Downhill who have twenty five years experience racing, constructing and maintaining the finest quality of trails. The exciting trail contains an abundance of features including smooth jumps, exciting drops, fun fast sections and challenging natural obstacles planned and built around the natural shapes of our beautiful forest.
The venue has played host to some record breaking major events over the years thanks to Coffs Downhill with exciting future events to be staged in conjunction with Clarence Valley Mountain Bike club. The vast experience of the two parties ensures a great future for downhill mountain biking in our area for a long time to come.
This event is being held at Orara East State Forest, approximately a 30 minute drive from the city of Coffs Harbour.

Information on prize money and awards for the 2018 DHI National Series has been published in the 2018 MTBA Prize Money & Awards Guide. For events listed on the UCI International Calendar, prize money will be paid in accordance with UCI Financial Obligations.

The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) has been notified of this event, and may conduct random testing during the Mountain Bike Australia Downhill National Series.
To ensure that you are adequately informed on testing procedures, please read the guidelines provided by ASADA here. Please note that blood samples may be required along with standard urine samples.
