Cycling Australia reviews EDP

Cycling Australia (CA) today confirmed that it will undertake a review of Mountain Bike Australia's (MTBA) Elite Development Program (EDP) in order to ensure that its affiliate MTBA is conducting the EDP in a manner that is best-practice and is broadly conforming to the strategies and objectives stated in the recently announced Australia’s Winning Edge (AWE) from the Australian Sports Commission (ASC).

Gold to Fry and Gaze on Easter Sunday

Tasmania’s Rowena Fry has claimed a home state victory, the Launceston-born competitor claiming the Subaru Oceania championship title in the open women’s cross country eliminator in Glenorchy on Sunday, while New Zealand’s Samuel Gaze made it two-from-two winning the eliminator after he was victorious in Saturday’s under 19’s cross country.

Super Sunday – Kovarik scores maiden Oceania title in Tasmania


Downhill super couple Chris Kovarik (AUS) and Claire Buchar (CAN) have claimed victory in the Subaru Oceania downhill championships in Glenorchy, Tasmania on Sunday.

Olympians add Oceania Title to Resume in Tasmania

2012 London Olympians Dan McConnell (AUS) and Karen Hanlen (NZL) have been crowned the 2013 Oceania cross country champions in Glenorchy, Tasmania this morning.

Mountain Bikers Descend on Tasmania over Easter

Australia and New Zealand’s best mountain bikers will head to Tasmania for the Subaru Oceania Championships this weekend, with riders heading to the acclaimed Glenorchy trails.

Long-Team Nominations towards the 2013 MTB and Trials World Championships

 MTBA is pleased to announce the 11 athletes that have been nominated to the long-team for Junior Downhill and the 9 athletes nominated for the Junior Olympic Cross Country in preparation for the 2013 UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships being staged in Pietermaritzburg, Republic of South Africa, 26th August to 1st September 2013.
