With less than two weeks remaining before applications close, the Foundation is keen to hear from girls and women from around Australia who have a dream but need some extra assistance to help them get there.
VicHealth's $1 million Active Clubs Grant round 2012-2013 open

In a bid to get more people active, the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) has launched its 2012/2013 Active Club Grants funding round, which assists with the purchase of essential sporting equipment, injury prevention and management equipment, portable shade and volunteer training.

Finalists announced for the Jayco 2012 Australian Cyclist of the Year Awards

Cycling Australia is pleased to announce the finalists for the Jayco 2012 Australian Cyclist of the Year Awards. The awards willl be presented at a black tie gala being staged at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in Sydney on Friday November 9 November. The evening will culminate with the presentation of the Sir Hubert 'Oppy' Opperman Medal to the 2012 Austrailian Cyclist of Year.

From October 19th-21st the Australian Institute of Sport Canberra and surrounding hills was a hive of activity as forty interstate riders were tested and coached to holistically stronger athletes.

The 2012 Champion System SRAM National Cyclo-cross Series wrapped up on Sydney’s northern beaches on the weekend, with Victorians Adrian Jackson and Lisa Jacobs crowned inaugural Series champions.
