Chris Jongewaard (SA) and Peta Mullens (VIC) have snared the Cross-Country (XCO) crowns at the Subaru Mountain Bike Australian Championships at Canberra’s Stromlo Forest Park. While in the Under 19 category Ben Bradley (TAS) and Holly Harris (NSW) prevailed.

In the elite men’s Downhill seeding Jared Graves followed by Chris Kovarik and Michael Hannah. For the Elite Female category Caroline Buchanan finished her seeding run a few seconds ahead of Tracey Hannah.

A strong field of Trials riders from throughout Australia descended upon the Nation's Capital for the 2013 Australian Bicycle Trials Championships. The trials course consisted of a variety of man made and natural obstacles – many still in place from the World Championships, which were held in the same location in 2009.

South Australia’s Chris Jongewaard (JetBlack Products BH Lightsview) has prevailed in an intense battle with Dan McConnell (Trek Factory) to claim his sixth elite men’s Cross-Country (XCO) title at the Subaru Mountain Bike Australian Championships at Canberra’s Stromlo Forest Park.

Victoria’s Peta Mullens has claimed her maiden national title in the Elite Women’s Cross-Country race at the Subaru Mountain Bike Australian Championships in Canberra.
