National Cyclocross Series – Round 4 – Melbourne

Day two of the National Series weekend in Melbourne returned to Cranwell Park. The morning start was a little colder, but the sun was shining and the coffee was already being brewed when we arrived. The team from Fields of Joy CX had been at the venue since before dawn creating a different course from the previous day and had a few surprises for the racers.

National Cyclocross Series – Round 3 – Melbourne

The National series arrived in Melbourne over the past weekend which is possibly the heartland of Australian Cyclocross. Sunbury Cycling club or better know as Fields of Joy CX had left the home turf of Essendon Fields and were on tour at Cranwell Park in the Melbourne suburb of Braybrook for the weekend.

Numerous councils and landowners around the country are currently being challenged with the need to provide a significant variety of mountain bike trails for riders, and Mountain Bike Australia are encouraging councils and landowners to work with local clubs and trail care alliances to help establish suitable trail networks.

Around 200 Cyclo-cross riders from across Australia will be heading to Cranwell Park, Melbourne, this weekend, for Rounds 3 & 4 of the MTBA National Cyclo-cross Series (NCXS).

Enduro National Series Round 4 Wrap Up

The ‘wild west’ once again lived up to its reputation of a unique venue offering a broad range of technical trail features to appeal to all riders from all locations and skill levels.
