NCAS Level 1 MTB Coaching Courses

Mountain Bike Australia are pleased to announce upcoming dates of NCAS Level 1 MTB coaching courses.

The L1 MTB is a coaching course aimed at people who want to coach club level and state/territory championship level MTB riders to develop and advance their MTB technical skills, riding fitness and racing skills. The coaching course addresses generic coaching and its application to MTB coaching, and teaches coaches how to nurture and develop MTB riders. The accreditation allows you to independently plan, prescribe and evaluate MTB training for MTB riders. The work of coaches at this level will be vital in supporting new, developing riders and enhancing the performance of existing riders.

The course is $390.00 per participant which includes two days of face-to-face training which incorporates discussion, presentations, workshop activities, as well as a practical coaching module.
At the start of the coaching course, participants receive all of the resources and documents required for training. On successful completion of the two days, participants receive a Trainee coach status while they complete home study and post course assessments.
