MTBA on-line services problems - Resolved

This issue has been resolved and the MTBA on-line services has been restored to the new livery to match the MTBA website.

The previous notice was as follows:

It has been reported that non-members attempting to enter events listed in the MTBA on-line event entry system are getting 'invalid page' errors when an attempt is made to pay for the entry.

MTBA has confirmed the problem and is working with the system designers to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

In the meantime there is a work-around. Proceed as follows:

1. When non-members enter an event through the on-line system an email will be sent to their stated email address inviting them to activate their 'member account' with MTBA. The email contains an 'activate account link', a member number and a temporary password.
2. Non-members need to respond to this email by clicking the 'activate account' and when requested entering the temporary password, changing it for something that is personal to them
3. Once the member activation is successful the  event registrant will be taken to their 'member' account. 
4. In the LH navigation panel, click on 'enter events' and select the event to enter by finding the event date.
5. Select the event, click 'continue' and use the 'I am a member' option, typing in the 'member' number and the password that has just been set.
6. Proceed from there as normal.
7. In testing this has been shown to allow entry to occur.

MTBA apologises for this error and, again, we are doing everything we can do to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible.

BTW - a benefit of this is that the same 'member' number and password can now be used to enter any events into the future without the need to enter personal details. Just enter the 'member' number and password as above and all that information will be pre-populated for you.
