MTBA are pleased to announce the inaugural MTBA NSW Junior Series and Schools Cup.
The 7 race series kicks off April 17 in Yellowmundee, the home track of the Western Sydney MTB Club and concludes on September 30th at Wollongong.
The series represents a co-operative effort by NSW clubs to provide more racing opportunities for juniors throughout the year and is suitable for beginners up to riders who are already racing in National level events.
Riders will be able to select the grade that matches their current ability – A,B or C – rather than their age group.
Races will be a short cross-country format with a lap or time duration set for each grade and points will be awarded to individuals to contribute to an end-of-series ranking.
Every rider who participates will also earn points for their school. The school with the most points will receive the MTBA NSW Schools Cup.
Encouraging your school friends to ride in events which are closest to them is the best way to make sure your school wins the cup!
