| Secretary The secretary's primary role is to take general responsibility for certain administrative tasks which the Management Committee is required to carry out. As well as bearing all the general responsibilities of being a member of the Management Committee, there are several tasks for which the Secretary is responsible. Many of these are the practical administrative duties that may be done by the Executive Officer. |

| Public Officer The public officer is the only office bearer covered in detail in the Associations Incorporation Act. It is an offense not to notify the ACT Registrar General that the Public Officer has changed, within one month of the appointment.
